LUTEIN EXTRACT:


DESCRIPTION Marigold colour is produced by further processing and formulation of Marigold extract obtained by solvent extraction of dried flowers of Aztec Marigold (Tagetes erecta: Family: Compositae)
The principal colouring pigment is Lutein.
FORMULATIONS Available in a wide range of water soluble as well as oil soluble formulations with pigment strength as per requirement. It is available in both liquid and powder forms.
COLOUR STRENGTH Ranging from 0.5% to 10% Xanthophylls.
COLOUR APPEARANCE Dark yellow. Can be combined with other natural colours to give a range of colour shades.
ANTI - OXIDANT Not Applicable
SOLUBILITY Not Applicable
USAGE LEVEL 1000 to 10000 ppm depending on colour shade and strength required for end use.
STABILITY Fair heat stability but sensitive to day light. Preferably used in products not exposed to direct sunlight.

STORAGE CONDITIONS & USE Store in a cool dark & dry place preferably airconditioned, avoiding direct sunlight or other strong sources of light and humidity. Use entire contents in single use where possible. Otherwise replace cap tightly after every use. Liquid colours should be shaken well or stirred before use.
SHELF LIFE Under recommended storage conditions, shelf life is 6 months for powders and 12 months for liquids.
PACKAGING 1 kg, 5kg,20kg HDPE containers for liquids. Double polylined fibre drums for powders.
