It is the volatile oil from the dried fruits of Coriandrum Sativum L. Umbelliferae. It is a clear, pale yellow to yellow liquid with spicy odor. The main constituents are d-linalool, linalool acetate, pinene, traces of limonene, terpinene and aldehydes.
