Black pepper

It is the total extract from Piper nigrum (black pepper). Main constituents are piperine, pinene, sabinene, caryophyllene and phellandrene. It is widely used as food additive in processed foods, processed meat, salad dressings, pickles and soft drinks.

Odor characteristic spicy aromatic odor
Piperine 25-30%
